While towing your boat to and from the water, the Ozark Trail Trailer Safety Chain provides a backup if your trailer becomes disengaged from your vehicle. This chain features welded links and 2 safety hooks at each end. The hooks have spring clips for added security. Class 2 rating makes this chain perfect for marine use, as it is rust and corrosion resistant. Install the chains to form a crisscross “x” shape beneath the trailer tongue. If the trailer becomes disconnected from the tow vehicle, this “x” will catch the tongue and prevent the trailer from dragging on the pavement.
